Outdoor Pallet Table

There are so many uses for old pallets, and I really love this movable outdoor table made with them.

Vintage Postcard Calendar Journal

From Design Sponge, one of my favorite design blogs, we have a postcard calendar journal. I really like the concept. It’s a reusable desk calendar that allows you to record one thing that happened each day. After a few years, you will have a great keepsake of your day to day memories. Plus it uses old postcards!

Antique Spoon Plant Markers

Got plants that need markers? Got old spoons lying around? If you’re like me, probably neither of those things apply to you, but I can still appreciate these antique spoon plant markers. Such vintage charm!

Scrabble Coasters

If you’ve got an old or incomplete Scrabble set laying around, these coasters would be the perfect thing to make.

Three Tiered Stand

Mason Jar Herb Garden

I love this beautifully rustic herb garden created with mason jars and a piece of reclaimed wood! It even has chalkboard paint for the labels in case you decide to switch out the herbs.

German Paper Stars

Here’s another foreign paper craft: it’s called a Fröbelsterne and it’s a German Christmas tradition. It would be great to make this out of recycled paper such as newsprint and use it as a bow for a gift.

Garbage Warrior

Shot over three years in the USA, India and Mexico, Garbage Warrior is a feature-length documentary film telling the epic story of maverick architect Michael Reynolds, his crew of renegade house builders from New Mexico, and their fight to introduce radically different ways of living. A snapshot of contemporary geo-politics and an inspirational tale of triumph over bureaucracy, Garbage Warrior is above all an intimate portrait of an extraordinary individual and his dream of changing the world.
